I had an amazing experience with Princy this spring! I ordered early in the season and she was on top of the communication from the get go. The plants - they are super high quality and it is important to me that they were native. I’m several years in but I’ve never had so many pollinators in my backyard. For my order, I was looking to cover dry shade and the plants have thrived despite a hot summer and some contractor foot traffic (on the hottest day of the year). I thought the plants were a goner but they have come back like fire. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Working with Princy to get native plants for my projects was wonderful! She was quick to respond and kept me updated about which plants she had on hand, their sizes and made helpful recommendations for alternatives if she didn’t have something on my list. I sourced a variety of natives, including several local ecotypes from Blue Violet for two client projects and one of my own and all the plants she provided are establishing themselves so well. My clients are thrilled with the growth and I was thrilled to be getting great native perennials at such great prices!

Historically I have not been a 'flower' girl until I met Princy through volunteering. I bought several varieties of native plants from Blue Violet Natives in July 2025. The plants were very healthy with strong root system. They have been doing well in my garden after planting. The owner Princy is passionate about native plants and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed my purchase experience and getting to know all kinds of native plants in her yard.

I had the most AMAZING experience buying my very first group of MD native plants from Blue Violet Natives! I cannot say enough what a positive, educational, and welcoming experience it was for me! I am a very new gardener and, I have a lot to learn. Princy (the owner/founder of Blue Violet Natives) could not have been kinder — it’s clear that she and her company care deeply for the land, the plants, the pollinators, and our local MD native-plant habitat!
